The Maison d’Izieu is a partner of #Wearehere

The Maison d’Izieu is a partner, with about one hundred other institutions in the world, of the virtual concert We are here, a Celebration of Resilience, Resistance and Hope that is organised in New York by the Museum of Jewish Heritage, the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene and Sing For Hope.

The concert will be live streamed on Sunday, 14 June at 8 pm (CEST) on Facebook and Twitter.

Many well-known celebrities will be there for the occasion, such as Whoopi Goldberg, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Adrien Brody, Mayim Bialik, and Jackie Hoffman, the solists Renee Fleming, Lea Salonga, Steven Skybell, Joyce DiDonato and Lang Lang, and many other invited guests.

The program commemorates the 77^th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising and sends a message of hope in the current crisis. More information can be found on www.WeAreHere.live.
